As a mixed-race, trauma-informed therapist, I am passionate about providing a safe, affirming space for clients to explore and process their experiences, gain tools for coping with various stressors, and move toward a life that feels aligned with their values. I welcome individuals from all walks of life, with a special focus on centering care for marginalized communities, including Black, Indigenous, Multiracial, People of Color (BIMPOC), LGBTQIA2S+, and neurodivergent folks. My approach uses decolonized, culturally sensitive methods, incorporating a variety of therapeutic tools including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy), Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—all tailored to meet your unique needs and goals for healing and growth. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and other emotional challenges. Together, we can explore your experiences and create a path towards healing and a more empowered life. I understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable step, but it's not one you have to take alone. I look forward to seeing how I can support you on your healing journey.

Accepting new clients!

Hey there! I'm Megan (she/her), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. My number one priority is to provide a safe and affirming space for all folks. Your lived experience is the greatest resource in therapy and I value the opportunity to help you navigate this journey. Serving individuals throughout Washington, I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, youth, & Neurodivergent clients, creating a dedicated space where your identities are centered. We collaborate to develop effective tools & coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, family issues, trauma, stress, and challenges related to executive function. I take a trauma informed & culturally sensitive approach that is tailored to your specific needs, leaning on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, & Somatic Therapy. We'll work together to access your inner wisdom of self, focusing on authenticity, harm reduction, the brain-body connection, and leveraging your unique strengths. Our initial sessions are spent getting to know each other and working together to create client-driven goals. Your identity is shaped by your unique story, and it is a privilege to walk alongside you, holding the map as you choose your own path.
