We are a private pay practice and do not take insurance directly. However, we can provide you with itemized receipts called superbills upon request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Additionally, we believe cost shouldn't stand in the way of meaningful care. If fees are a barrier, we partner with several community organizations that help cover or offset therapy costs, and we also maintain an internal reduced-rate program. Visit our Services page or schedule a free 15-minute consultation to explore these financial options with us.

Your insurance may reimburse you for a portion of your fee with an out-of-network provider. We will not be able to bill them directly, but we can provide you with a monthly “superbill” to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will need to check directly with your insurance plan to confirm coverage.
We recommend asking the following questions:
Does my insurance plan cover out-of-network individual therapy?
The CPT codes you can ask about are 90791 (initial psychiatric evaluation) and 90837 (psychotherapy).
You can tell them that the providers are Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associates.
What is my copay or what percentage ("co-insurance") do I pay for a mental health provider who is out-of-network?
Do I have a deductible? If I do, what is it and have I met it yet this year?
How many sessions does my plan cover in a year? How many sessions do I have left?
Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care provider for services to be covered?
What is the process to get reimbursed for out-of-network services?

Yes, we do! We reserve a limited number of reduced-rate spots within our practice. Because these spots fill up quickly, please schedule a free 15-minute consultation to talk with one of our therapists about current availability and options.
